Tiki Taane | Ōtautahi Proud
Tuesday Drive with Kendra and Dan | 11 May 2021
Kendra and Dan chatted to Tiki Taane before he joins us in the 03 for Ōtautahi Proud. The collaboration with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra will take place at the Christchurch Town Hall on Friday 21st May. Tiki will be joined by guests, Big Sima, Tali and his tamariki, Charlie and Karcia.
Celebrating music that is unique to Ōtautahi Christchurch, CSO Presents: Ōtautahi Proud with Tiki Taane & Guests. The show will bring together the genius and talent of two-times platinum artist and producer Tiki Taane, Ōtautahi born and bred hip hop artist Big Sima, drum and bass artist Tali, and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
Featuring hits like Summertime, Serendipity, Tangaroa, and Kei Tōku Ngākau Nei Koe (Always On My Mind) as they’ve never been heard before, the performance will bring to the stage brand new orchestrations arranged by New Zealand composers Tom Rainey, Hamish Oliver, Reuben de Lautour, and Ewan Clark.
With the downstairs of the Christchurch Town Hall opened up as a dance floor, this will be a night to remember.
