Former local-body politician, and ardent supporter of arts and heritage, Dame Anna Crighton, has her own event at this year’s WORD Festival, called Still Standing: Anna Crighton.
Titled after her recent memoir of the same name, Still Standing: Anna Crighton promises to be an intimate conversation about the life and experiences of one of Ōtautahi’s most impassioned advocates.
Dame Anna dialled into the Burnt Breakfast Show to have a chat about her book, the process of writing it, and what people should expect to read.
