Rach from Model Home & James from Transistors popped up to the studio to have a catch up with Andrew Barry on Wednesday Drive about the Space Academy Christmas Party happening on Wednesday 23rd December. Little did Andrew know… the pair had planned a bit of an ambush to announce a very special tribute to a living legend that is set to be released to the airwaves shortly.
Barry: The Man Who Moves The Music, a compilation album featuring artists from all around Aotearoa, will be available to preorder on Friday 18th December on Bandcamp with the official release on Wednesday 23rd December.
All online proceeds along with doors sales from the album launch aka Space Academy Christmas Party will be going directly to the Christchurch City Mission – Te Whare Mīhana ki Ōtautahi. Come along for very special performances from Model Home, Transistors, Nervous Jerk, Joe Sampson and DJ’s throughout the night, $10 (or more) on the door.
