Biters NZ | RDU Live-To-Air

Biters NZ joined us at SALTBOX Studios for a live performance.

New Zealand’s premiere (and possibly only) BITERS tribute band are here to assault your earholes. Fans of first wave UK punk and collectors of impossibly-rare vinyl will recognise the name BITERS, as well as anyone brave enough to have witnessed their purportedly life endangering live performances between 1977 and 1982 in Northern England. Their long out of print catalogue, including three LPs and a handful of singles, is currently being reissued by Shithney Events Co in the UK and Oh Yea, Haha in New Zealand. BITERS have not performed live since their 2009 reunion, but their spirit, power and attitude lives on in Biters NZ – a tribute group so faithfully dedicated to their act that it’s hard to believe you’re not listening to the real thing. Biters NZ is made up of members from Salad Boys, Best Bets, Transistors, T54, Contact Rock, The Dance Asthmatics, Seth Africa, ’83 Girls and Joe Sampson and Friends.
