Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition T&Cs
The following terms and conditions govern all entries and performances as part of the Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition.
- The Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition is being held to select an additional act to perform at the Go Live Festival 2021 on the RDU 98.5FM Stage.
- ENTRIES are accepted online only. Bands/solo acts will need to register using the online entry form and provide a streaming video link to their acts’ performing or practising to be reviewed for competition judging.
- RIGHTS: Bands retain all rights and ownership to their original music once entered to Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition. The Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition will hold no rights or ownership to original music performed at Go Live Festival.
- ENTRANTS: The quality of bands/solo performers entering can range from rough newly formed bands/solo acts through to professionally seasoned live music bands and everything in between. We welcome all levels of performance experience and genre.
- MEMBER INFORMATION: The information you provide upon registering for the Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition must be true and correct or your registration can be terminated immediately.
- AGE RESTRICTIONS: The Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition does not have an age restriction.
- JUDGING PROCESS: All registered bands agree that all decisions on successful competition winners are to be decided solely by the team of judges at RDU 98.5FM.
- ENTRIES CLOSE: Entries for the Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition close at 11.59pm on Thursday 8th July 2021.
- ANNOUNCEMENT DATES: The winner will be announced publicly on Monday 12th July 2021
- AVAILABILITY: By entering the Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition the band/solo artist agrees that they will be available to perform at the Go Live Festival on Saturday 24th July 2021.
- WINNERS: Winners will be contacted by the RDU 98.5FM via phone and email.
- PROMOTION: By entering Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition, you agree for RDU 98.5FM and Go Live Festival to use your name, face, band artwork and likeness across all forms of media to promote the upcoming performance at Go Live Festival 2021.
- PRIZES: The winner of Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition will perform on the RDU 98.5FM Stage at Go Live Festival on Saturday 24th July 2021. The winner will be compensated for their Go Live Festival performance as dictated by the event organisers.
- FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS: All bands/solo artists and their associate partners, their parents or legal guardians (if under 18), agree to be legally bound by the above terms and conditions. By entering a band/solo act to the Go Live with RDU 98.5FM Competition, all band members accept and confirm that the above information has been understood by all parties before proceeding.
