Ben from RDU Breakfast chats with Joshua Finegan, the coordinator of Wellington’s Slow Note Festival, taking place from the 26th to 28th of November 2021 at local venues across the nation’s capital. Ben picks his brain about the event’s kaupapa and the expansive line-up of emerging local artists on board with the project. Listen in here:


 

All the best things take time, and the return of Pōneke all ages festival Slow Note after two years is one of those things. First launched in 2019, the festival platforms established and emerging musicians and poets over three art-packed days, across multiple stages and venues. This year’s festival will take place in late November, with the line up to be revealed early October alongside a Slow Note release party to celebrate the announcement. The organisers promise the 2021 festivities to be bigger and more ambitious than before, so start getting excited and nab yourself an early bird pass today…
