Tāmaki Makaurau duo, Surf Friends, have announced an upcoming album Sonic Waves, to celebrate, they’ve released their first single off the album, called Something Real. The duo reached out to Burnt Breakfast to have a chat about the single and the upcoming album. They talk about how this music is different, what it was like to change up their usual creative process, and what it’s like to sit on a song for so long.
