The Doc Edge Festival, formerly the DOCNZ Film Festival, is an International Documentary Film Festival that is taking place throughout the country.
One of the documentaries premiering at the festival is Poised, an underdog story exploring how Mixed Martial Arts is helping disadvantaged youth in the North East of England.
The documentary’s director, Toby Robson, dialled into the Burnt Breakfast to talk all about it, the origin of the story, and how the message of the documentary can be translated into any social environment.
