Soulful Music from Wellington, NZ.
When you listen to the music of Wellington band Brockaflower, you hear elements of electronic soul, brassy big band funk, future beats and hip-hop coalescing together.
Inspired by D’Angelo, Electric Wire Hustle, Fat Freddy’s Drop, J-Dilla and Little Dragon, over the last four years they’ve gone from jamming in a cold basement to headlining sold-out shows nationwide. Along the way, Brockaflower has played some of New Zealand’s largest summer music festivals, released their debut album ‘Build It’, and connected with a community of like-minded musicians and music lovers around the country.
A colourful and diverse nine-piece, when their horn section, rhythm section and three vocalists hit their collective stride, expect to be wowed by one of the most eclectic and captivating live shows in the country.
